1. EPG Merit Scholarship
Amount: $3,000
Provider: Energy Polymer Group (EPG)
The EPG Merit Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who plan to major in engineering or the applied sciences and are sponsored by a member of the Energy Polymer Group (EPG).
Requirements:
- Applicant must be a high school senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a 4-year university
2. Environmental Kindness Scholarship
Amount: $250
Provider: Melissa Myers
The Environmental Kindness Scholarship aims to support the next generation of environmental activists so they can pursue their careers and protect the environment. Any student or recent graduate who is pursuing environmental studies may apply for this scholarship.
Requirements:
- Any Education Level
- Prospective Major in Atmosphere, Energy, and Environmental Science
3. Karen Mashburn Environmental Scholarship
Amount: $10,000
Provider: Friends of the Everglades
The Karen Mashburn Environmental Scholarship will support one student’s studies through a $10,000 scholarship and offer an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience beyond the regular course of study. The scholarship recipient will participate in a 14-week fall internship at Friends of the Everglades, helping to support the Young Friends of the Everglades program and engage in community outreach.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have demonstrated commitment to environmental education and conservation through volunteering, advocacy, projects, or other activities.
- Applicant must be Undergraduate or Masters degree student
- Applicant must be studying in Florida
4. ScholarSHPE Scholarships
Amount: Up to $10,000
Provider: ScholarSHPE
ScholarSHPE scholarships provide opportunities for graduating high school seniors beginning a STEM undergraduate career at a community college or 4-year university; undergraduate students pursuing a degree in STEM at any stage of their undergraduate career; students or professionals pursuing technical certificates or graduate-level professional education that increase their professional competencies with select institutions; or graduate students pursuing a master’s or doctoral STEM degree program at an accredited university.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time at a community college or 4-year university.
5. NOPHNRCSE Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Provider: National Organization of Professional Hispanic Natural Resources Conservation Service Employees (NOPHNRCSE)
The National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees (NOPHNRCSE) has the mission to motivate and mentor members for leadership roles to assist NRCS and partners in delivering natural resources conservation. Following our mission, NOPHNRCSE is proud to present the NOPHNRCSE scholarship program.
This year NOPHNRCSE will award a total of four (4) $1,000.00 academic scholarships to qualified students that are pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or Natural Resources Conservation related field of study at an accredited school of higher education.
Requirements:
- Applicant must show interest in pursuing a career in Natural Resources Conservation.
- Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or current college students with at least one full academic year remaining before completing their education.
- Applicant must be hispanic or latino.
6. Graduate Marine Conservation Scholarships
Amount: $2,000
Provider: WDHOF
Several Marine Conservation scholarships ($2,000 each) will be awarded to qualified applicants of any age who are enrolled in an accredited graduate academic or research program in the field of marine conservation or a related discipline.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be a graduate or doctorate student
7. Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program – Fall Semester
Amount: $1,500
Provider: Novus Biologicals
The Novus Biologicals Scholarship is for students pursuing education in a science-related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science).
Requirements:
- Applicant must have a major declared in a science related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science).
8. Brown and Caldwell Navajo Nations Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Provider: BROWN CALDWELL
Brown and Caldwell offers a scholarship designed to encourage and support students who are enrolled members of the Navajo Nation and have a desire to improve our world by developing their skills and knowledge in preparation for a career in the environmental profession.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be a member of the Navajo Nation.
- Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
9. William A. Lewis Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Provider: Edwards-Lewis Family
The William A. Lewis Scholarship aims to honor the legacy of William A. Lewis by supporting underrepresented students interested in pursuing careers in mathematics or other STEM fields. Any BIPOC undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in STEM at an HBCU may apply for this scholarship.
Requirements:
- Applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in STEM at an HBCU (Historically Black College or University)
