1. Marian Wood Baird College Scholarship
Amount: Up to $15,000
Provider: USTA Foundation
Requirements: Must be graduating high school seniors, have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and played tennis.
This scholarship is named in honor of the late Marian Wood Baird, who had been recognized by the USTA for over 40 years of volunteer service. Honors bestowed on Mrs. Baird included her induction into the Western Tennis Association Hall of Fame in 1994, the 1993 USTA Seniors’ Service Award and the 1979 USTA Service Bowl. The scholarship is generously supported by the Baird Family, and it is their wish that the recipient maintain contact with them.
2. The USG Spring Reflection Scholarship
Amount: Up to $3,000 per recipient
Provider: Uncommon Sports Group (USG)
Requirements: Must be a graduating high school senior or above, Catholic or Christian, submission of an essay
This scholarship is available to anyone pursuing a career in collegiate and/or professional sports.The USG Reflection Scholarship can be used for personal, spiritual, or professional development. This may include paying off student loans, tuition, job board memberships, conference fees, etc.They choose the winner based on their favorite essay, so be sure to rock your scholarship essay.
3. Evans Scholarship
Amount: Full Tuition + Room & Board
Provider: Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation
Requirements: Must have caddied, successfully and regularly, for a minimum of two years and are also expected to caddie and/or work at your sponsoring club during the summer when you apply for the scholarship, must have completed your junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses, must be outstanding in character, integrity and leadership.
Who knew that being a golf caddie could pay your college tuition? These weird scholarships award full tuition and room and board to students who have demonstrated a strong record as a golf caddie, good grades, outstanding character, and financial need. 4. Samuel D. Hartley Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $500
Provider: Hartley Family
Requirements: Sport of choice is Golf, high school senior or enrolled in community college, undergraduate, graduate, or a doctorate program, GPA of 3.0 or higher,
The Samuel D. Hartley Memorial Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students passionate about golf and striving to achieve their dreams in their chosen field as a tribute to the late Samuel D. Hartley.
5. FMC Skaters Scholarship
Amount: Varies
Provider: FMC Ice Sports
Requirements: Student resume of the past four years, including skating/hockey background, extracurricular activities (sports/clubs/jobs), community service, honors and awards (scholastic/athletic), 500-word essay describing a time when skating had a significant influence and impact on your life or personal development, 1 letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach, official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores.
The FMC Skaters Scholarship program was developed in 1993 to provide financial assistance to ice sports participants and recreational ice skaters that demonstrate personal excellence on and off the ice. The scholarships are awarded to ice hockey, figure skating and recreational skaters in June of each year.

6. Tom Mellis Memorial Scholarship Award
Amount: Up to $2,500
Provider: Stanislaus Community Foundation
Requirements: High school senior, must have participated in a varsity sport, resident of Stanislaus County, California, provide transcript.
A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to one or more high school seniors who actively participate in varsity sports, show outstanding leadership in community service and school activities, and demonstrate scholastic achievement.
7. Minds in Motion Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Provider: Maryland Athletic Association
Requirements: GPA ≥ 3.20, residing in Maryland, and participated in interscholastic athletic activities sponsored by MPSSAA during their high school careers
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding senior male and female scholar-athletes attending a MPSSAA member school to be used toward post-secondary education.
8. Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship
Amount: $5,000
Provider: FLAG Flag Football
Requirements: Must be a Senior High School athlete in Massachusetts
FLAG Flag Football will be awarding up to $5,000 to a graduating Massachusetts high school student or students who has made high school and/or community sports programs safer for, and more inclusive of, LGBTQ student-athletes, as either a role model or ally.

9. BigSun Athletic Scholarship
Amount: $500
Provider: BigSun Organization
Requirements: High school senior or undergraduate, written essay about how their sport of choice has impacted them.
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do their part they are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student.
10. Thomas “Sarge” Johnson Scholarship Program
Amount: Up to $3,000
Provider: USA Boxing Foundation
Requirements: Must be a current USA Boxing member and have been a member for the last two calendar years, must have completed at least one semester of a post-secondary program, GPA of 2.0, must have competed in at least two sanctioned bouts this year, and each of the last two calendar years.
The USA Boxing Foundation awards 11 scholarships each year to encourage students to continue their post-secondary education.
11. Nicholas Hamlin Tennis Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Up to $500 per recipient
Provider: Nicholas Hamlin
Requirements: Must be a High School Senior or Junior
This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Nick Hamlin by supporting students who play tennis. To apply, students will need to write an essay answering the following question, “What have you learned from tennis, and how has this shaped your future?”
