Scholarship4Moms was created by a group of mothers who wanted to help bring financial relief to moms looking to further their education. An education is key to helping families find the jobs they need in order to provide financial security for themselves and their little ones.

Jennifer Gephart Memorial Working Mothers Scholarship

Amount: $3,000

Provider: Andrew Gephart

This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Jennifer Gephart, mother of two and military spouse. The Jennifer Gephart Memorial Working Mothers Scholarship aims to support extraordinary women, like Jennifer, in their pursuit of higher education, enabling them to make valuable contributions to society while providing financial support to their families. 

Organic Formula Shop Single Parent Scholarship

Amount: $2,000

Provider: Organic Formula Shop

Organic Formula Shop is committed to giving back and supporting Single Parents! Each year, the Organic Formula Shop Single Parent Scholarship supports two eligible students with a $2,000 award. Poynter Scholarship

Amount: $2,000

Provider: Poynter Foundation

The Poynter Scholarship aims to support parents who are pursuing their own academic goals while encouraging the educational ambitions of their children. Any undergraduate or graduate student who is a single parent of a school-aged child may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have at least a 2.8 GPA.

Striving Solo Parent Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Provider: Daniel R. Bacalis, P.C

Since Fall 2022, Daniel R. Bacalis, P.C. has offered the $1,000 Striving Solo Parent Scholarship each semester to a single parent who is returning to school to pursue a college degree. If you miss the Spring deadline, check out the Fall scholarship.

Jennifer D. Hale Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

The Jennifer D. Hale Memorial Scholarship aims to honor the memory of Jennifer D. Hale by supporting teen mothers or former teen mothers who are pursuing their dreams in the field of nursing. Jennifer was a teenage mother, having her first daughter at age 17. Jennifer was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away suddenly at the age of fifty-one, leaving behind a legacy of resilience in the face of adversity and service to others. 

“Mom to Scholar” Scholarship for Mothers

Amount: $500

The “Mom to Scholar” Scholarship for Mothers is open to mothers who want to begin or resume their journey towards earning a technical or college degree. Mothers who have a desire to earn their college degree bring unique perspectives that greatly enhance their learning experiences. For some, motherhood is a vocation that enlightens like no other. Eunice Z. Gaddis Legacy Scholarship

Eunice Z. Gaddis was a beloved mother who had a passion for education and a love for books, a fondness that she passed down to her children and grandchildren. The Eunice Z. Gaddis Legacy Scholarship aims to honor the memory of Eunice Z. Gaddis by supporting students who share her commitment to education. Applicants must be Black or African American, a single mother, and must be pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
