Hurst Review and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) are partnering to offer this scholarship program that recognizes and rewards entry-level nursing students for outstanding academic performance. All applicants must already be enrolled in an AACN member institution and maintain at least a 3.2 grade point average in their current program or last school attended. One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be distributed twice yearly.

The Breanna Coleman Memorial Nursing Scholarship seeks to honor the life of Breanna Coleman by supporting students who share her passion for nursing and helping others.
Jennifer D. Hale Memorial Scholarship

Jennifer D. Hale was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed away suddenly at the age of fifty-one, leaving behind a legacy of resilience in the face of adversity and service to others. Jennifer was a teenage mother, having her first daughter at age 17. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing, Healthcare Systems Management and spent more than 16 years in geriatric and hospice nursing. She went on to spend the last 16 years of her career in executive leadership positions in Hospice organizations, ending her career as a Vice President of Clinical and Quality Standards. The Jennifer D. Hale Memorial Scholarship aims to honor the memory of Jennifer D. Hale by supporting students who are pursuing their dreams in the field of nursing.
Evan James Vaillancourt Memorial Scholarship

The Evan James Vaillancourt Memorial Scholarship seeks to honor the life of Evan James Vaillancourt by helping countless others in their pursuit of the Nursing Career that Evan was so excited to begin. Any high school senior who has at least a 3.5 GPA and is pursuing a degree in nursing may apply if they have community service or volunteering experience.
A Nurse I Am Scholarship

In 2007, in order to address the number of nurses leaving the field within their first few years in practice, and to inspire nurses going into the profession, Cherokee Uniforms, a Careismatic Brand, produced two films that shared the same name: A Nurse I Am. Christina Taylese Singh Memorial Scholarship

The Christina Taylese Singh Memorial Scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Christina Taylese Singh by supporting students who are following in Christina’s footsteps.
